A daily news broadcast of hyper-local Bangalore and Karnataka news on WhatsAppI chose a sample of Kausalya Suprabhatam by MS Subbulakshmi as that is the most common sound heard in Bangalore households in the mornings. Also, it ends with a thin temple bell sound which adds a finishing touch to the whole intro.

Did you get your period is a sensitive audiobook that required me to be attentive and careful in picking out the right music for the scenes as it was a serious book. It covered a lot of topics revolving around the challenges women face and also the medical issues that a woman faces with her menstrual cycle and in this case, the protagonist not getting her period.
I had to be mindful of the story and keep an ear out for sections that needed to be treated with music. And I achieved a complete product in a short amount of time as the deadline for this project was short.

This one was a challenge, as the vocal came first and then I composed the music on top. The client, Chukki Talkies wanted a rich-sounding music track with traditional south Indian instruments. I started out editing the voice according to a fixed tempo and I then started laying out the background rhythmic and melodic instruments like the ghatam, mouth harp, tamate, tumbi, flute and harmonium.
The song was well received on youtube and on all social media.

Yash
The client wanted a tribute song for the Kannada superstar Yash. We formed a team of 3 people and the instrumental version was created first and then the lyrics were written on top. We did extensive research on style and treatment of the roles he's played to get a sense of what aesthetic we should go with.
I think it worked out great at the end of the day and was very well received by Yash and his fans alike.
